Environmental Monitoring (EM) Specialist

Who you are

You are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a keen interest in environmental monitoring and contamination control. You understand the importance of maintaining a controlled environment for aseptic operations and are familiar with regulatory standards such as USP <797>, USP <800>, and 503A/503B. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are eager to support the microbiology team in executing the environmental monitoring program. Your attention to detail ensures accurate sample collection, documentation, and reporting, contributing to the overall success of the cleanroom operations.

What you'll do

As an Environmental Monitoring Specialist, you will perform routine environmental sampling within sterile pharmaceutical compounding cleanroom facilities. You will support contamination control efforts by executing all aspects of the environmental monitoring program, including sample collection, incubation, and documentation. You will assist in microbial investigations and laboratory tasks under the supervision of the Microbiologist. Your role is essential in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and maintaining a controlled environment for aseptic operations. You will be responsible for reporting findings and collaborating with the team to address any contamination issues that arise.
