Overview

Oscar is hiring an Associate for their Payment Integrity team to execute internal payment integrity solutions. You'll leverage billing and coding expertise to ensure claims are paid accurately and timely. This role is based in New York City with a hybrid work schedule.

Desirable

While not required, familiarity with health insurance claims processing or experience in a related field would be advantageous. A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and a willingness to engage with various teams will help you succeed in this role.

What you'll do

As an Associate in the Payment Integrity team, you will be responsible for executing internal payment integrity solutions that require a keen eye for detail and a solid understanding of billing and coding. You will perform line-by-line reviews of claims to ensure they are processed accurately and in a timely manner. Your role will involve leveraging Oscar's claim infrastructure and workflows to identify areas for improvement, translating friction points from stakeholders into actionable opportunities. You will collaborate with various teams to enhance the quality of claims processing, ensuring that members receive the best possible service. You will report to the Manager of Payment Integrity, contributing to the continuous improvement of processes and solutions.
