With over 5 years of experience in vulnerability management, you have a proven track record of embedding security policies and managing vulnerabilities effectively across various systems. Your excellent stakeholder management skills enable you to communicate complex security concepts clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

You possess deep knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements related to security vulnerabilities. You understand the importance of prioritizing vulnerabilities based on business context and risk assessment, ensuring that security measures align with organizational goals. Your analytical mindset allows you to identify potential security risks and develop pragmatic solutions to mitigate them.

You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and thrive on the challenge of improving security maturity within an organization. You have experience collaborating with technology leaders and external partners to drive security initiatives and enhance overall security posture. Your proactive approach to vulnerability management ensures that you stay ahead of emerging threats and vulnerabilities.

Desirable

Experience with tools such as Burp Suite and Nmap is a plus, as is familiarity with the OWASP Top Ten vulnerabilities. You may also have certifications in security management or related fields, which further demonstrate your commitment to maintaining high security standards.

What you'll do

In this role, you will operate, embed, and manage Deliveroo's vulnerability management policy, ensuring that it is scalable and effective. You will run governance processes to provide relevant committees and stakeholders with clear visibility of security risks. Your responsibilities will include prioritizing vulnerabilities based on business context and regulatory requirements, enabling system owners to manage their vulnerabilities effectively.

You will collaborate with various teams across the organization to create solutions that address identified security risks. This includes working closely with external partners to enhance vulnerability management practices and ensure compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for reporting on vulnerability management activities and outcomes, providing insights that drive continuous improvement in security practices.

Your role will have a significant impact on how Deliveroo identifies and remediates vulnerabilities, contributing to the overall security maturity of the organization.
