Who you are

You have a strong background in human resources, particularly in partnering with engineering teams to address specific challenges and foster a high-performance culture. Your experience includes navigating organizational changes and evolving job architectures to meet the needs of engineering leaders. You understand the importance of aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring that the engineering teams are equipped to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with VP and Sr. Director level leaders. Your ability to build trust and rapport with stakeholders is essential, as you will be a key advisor in shaping the organizational culture. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and are skilled at implementing solutions that enhance team dynamics and performance.

Your experience includes working in a remote environment, where you have successfully managed HR initiatives across different regions. You are adaptable and can navigate the complexities of remote work while ensuring that all team members feel included and valued. You embrace technology and are comfortable using various HR tools to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Desirable

Experience in a tech or software development environment is a plus, as it allows you to better understand the unique challenges faced by engineering teams. Familiarity with AI and DevSecOps principles can enhance your ability to contribute to GitLab's mission of transforming software development.
