Senior IT Project Manager

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience managing IT projects, particularly in complex and regulated environments — you've successfully led initiatives that require a high degree of autonomy and accountability. Your strong judgment and prioritization skills enable you to navigate the intricacies of project management effectively, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle.

Your background includes familiarity with asset management platforms and identity and access management tools — you understand the importance of security and governance in IT projects. You have experience managing vendor-led implementations and multi-party initiatives, which has honed your ability to coordinate across various teams and stakeholders.

You possess a solid understanding of ITSM/ITIL frameworks, which allows you to develop repeatable processes that enhance the efficiency of IT teams. Your exposure to governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) initiatives has equipped you with the knowledge to implement best practices in project management.

You are comfortable leading executive messaging and have a bias toward ownership and outcomes — you thrive in environments where you can take charge and drive projects to successful completion. Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders sets you apart as a leader in your field.

Desirable

Experience with SOC, ISO, GDPR, or customer-driven audit frameworks would be a plus, as would any additional certifications in project management or IT governance. You are always looking to expand your skill set and stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead and deliver high-impact infrastructure, security, and governance initiatives across Exegy's global technology environment. You will own a portfolio of strategic initiatives that include various software implementations and physical adjustments to existing or new equipment. Your role will involve working closely with internal stakeholders to achieve the best results for external clients, ensuring that all projects align with the company's strategic goals.

You will develop repeatable processes that allow for better management of work items within IT teams, focusing on building resiliency lifecycle processes that improve product management. Your leadership will be crucial in driving ongoing GRC initiatives, ensuring that all projects adhere to regulatory requirements and best practices.

You will collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Security, Data Center Operations, and Governance teams, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Your ability to manage complex projects will be essential in navigating the challenges that arise in a regulated environment, and you will be responsible for ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
