Job Description

The App Experience Delivery Tech team's mission is to deliver Always-On, precomputed App Experiences across all multiple client experiences enabling industry leading customer perceived App Availability (three 9’s+) and lowest possible latency (projected 8x faster than real-time calls).

We do this by integrating our Precompute Recording Infrastructure with a multi-CDN infrastructure, direct Client and Client Edge Service integration, triggering precomputed CX (such as Dynamic BK4C, merging device cache like Continue Watching with real-time calls). Customers see the most personalized, lowest latency, highly available CX, with lowered costs. We also ensure to invest in continuous validation to maintain the highest quality of precomputed CX.

We measure success by App Availability, Latency, and Incident Outage Minutes across the Storefront. This work is critical for Prime Video’s Availability and Scaling (Peak Traffic Shaving) strategy, as leveraged in launches such as Thursday Night Football/NBA/NFL, and is consistently reviewed by senior leaders in strategic documents. To illustrate critical impact, the Prime Video centralized scaling strategy leverages our capabilities to clip traffic peaks breaching the TNF Average forecasts, serving precomputed responses only to those customers exceeding scale targets.
