You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience troubleshooting complex equipment and are comfortable working with diesel generators, UPSs, and three-phase electrical systems. You understand the importance of maintaining uptime in mission-critical environments and are committed to ensuring seamless operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and operating the mission-critical facilities that support AWS data centers. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical equipment, including stand-by diesel generators, switch gear, and cooling systems. You will work closely with other technicians and engineers to ensure that all systems are functioning optimally and that any issues are resolved quickly. You will participate in routine maintenance and inspections, documenting your findings and actions taken. You will also assist in the implementation of new systems and upgrades, ensuring that all work is completed safely and in compliance with company standards. Your contributions will directly impact the reliability of AWS services, helping to maintain an extraordinary uptime for our customers.
