You possess strong organizational skills and can prioritize tasks effectively, ensuring that the data center runs smoothly. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and react quickly to issues is critical to your success in this role. You are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, adapting to the fast-paced environment of a 24/7 operation. You have a basic understanding of hardware and network repair, and you are eager to learn and innovate solutions to problems that arise in the data center space.

What you'll do

As a Data Center Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of the world's most innovative technology platform. Your responsibilities will include installing equipment, creating documentation, and troubleshooting issues within the data center. You will work closely with a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, contributing to the overall success of AWS infrastructure services. Your role will require you to travel within and outside of the regional work area as needed, ensuring that all AWS data centers are supported effectively. You will be involved in the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, helping to keep the cloud running for millions of businesses and services worldwide.
