Overview

Atomic is seeking a Head of Supply Chain to lead and expand their co-manufacturing network for a fast-growing pet-food brand. This role requires 7+ years of experience in supply chain operations and strategic leadership.

Job Description

Who you are

You have over 7 years of experience in supply chain management, demonstrating a strong ability to lead and expand co-manufacturing networks. Your strategic mindset allows you to balance operational excellence with long-term planning, ensuring that supply chain operations align with business goals. You possess excellent negotiation skills, enabling you to manage key external partnerships effectively while driving continuous improvement in quality and service delivery.

Your background includes hands-on experience in production, quality assurance, costing, and planning, which equips you to oversee all aspects of supply chain operations. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution from research and development through to commercialization. You are proactive in identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency within the supply chain.

Desirable

While not mandatory, experience in the pet-food industry or e-commerce brands would be a plus. Familiarity with building manufacturing capabilities and managing complex supply chain networks will enhance your candidacy. You are encouraged to apply even if you do not meet every qualification listed.

What you'll do

In this role, you will take ownership of co-manufacturing partnerships, ensuring that performance metrics across quality, service, cost, and delivery are met. You will lead the negotiation and execution of contracts, pricing, and service agreements, establishing strong operational relationships with co-manufacturing partners. Your role will involve serving as the primary escalation point for any production issues, deviations, or quality concerns that arise.

You will also be responsible for developing and expanding the external manufacturing network to support innovation and scalability. This includes identifying capacity needs and redundancy strategies to ensure that the supply chain can adapt to changing market demands. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives, ensuring that the supply chain function is built from the ground up as the company scales.

What we offer

Atomic offers a dynamic work environment where you can make a significant impact on the growth of a new pet-food brand. You will have the opportunity to shape the supply chain function and drive strategic initiatives that contribute to the company's success. We value diverse perspectives and encourage you to bring your unique experiences to the team. Join us in building innovative solutions that address real problems for e-commerce brands.
