SFMOMA is seeking a Philanthropy Project Intern to support fundraising efforts and contribute to the Philanthropy Department's mission. You'll engage with various stakeholders and utilize skills in Excel. This is an entry-level position based in San Francisco.
You are an enthusiastic individual with a strong interest in the arts and a desire to contribute to the mission of SFMOMA. You possess excellent time management and communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with various stakeholders. Your resourcefulness enables you to seek out information from diverse sources, and you understand the importance of maintaining confidentiality regarding sensitive information. A background in the arts is preferred, and familiarity with tools like Tessitura, CRM systems, and Excel is desirable.
As a Philanthropy Project Intern, you will assist the Philanthropy Department in raising funds to support SFMOMA's operations. You will help organize and coordinate fundraising events, engage with donors, and support the team in various administrative tasks. Your role will involve researching potential donors and funding opportunities, as well as assisting in the preparation of materials for donor communications. You will also have the opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a major cultural institution and contribute to meaningful projects that support the arts.
