InterSystems is hiring a Sales Engineer to provide guidance on product usage and manage technical relationships with customers. You'll work closely with the Country Sales Manager and require strong design and presentation skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in sales engineering, ideally with experience in pre-sales activities and technical presentations. You possess excellent communication skills and can articulate complex technical concepts to a variety of audiences. Your ability to understand customer needs and translate them into technical solutions is key to your success. You are comfortable with hands-on coding and have a solid understanding of technical architecture and database design. You are also skilled in mentoring and training others, helping to foster a collaborative environment. Your business acumen allows you to identify opportunities within existing accounts and drive product adoption effectively.

What you'll do

As a Sales Engineer at InterSystems, you will partner with the Country Sales Manager to develop product and business strategies that align with customer needs. You will investigate and demonstrate the use of InterSystems products alongside third-party technologies, ensuring customers are aware of the latest capabilities. Your role will involve managing technical relationships with customer accounts, providing guidance on best practices, and recommending technical architecture and operational strategies. You will build and demonstrate Proofs of Concept (PoCs) to illustrate the suitability and performance of our technology. Additionally, you will participate in detailed technical discussions across all levels of the customer's organization to promote the adoption of our products. Your responsibilities will also include installing InterSystems software and assisting with benchmarking exercises to determine optimal deployment configurations.
