Job Description

As a Program Manager of New Technology Introduction, you will be the primary point of contact for internal customers and partners. You will engage customers to understand and document business requirements, drive problem solutions and manage the introduction of new technologies to the mechanical and electrical engineering support teams within our distribution network. You will balance business needs with technical constraints, striving to find the right solution for each customer while maintaining a strong focus on standards, scalability and supportability. You will implement technical approaches, and participate in cross-functional efforts to meet challenging timelines. You will also work on continuous improvement, develop program documentation and influence the technical roadmaps. The ability to build productive relationships with colleagues and customers at remote sites around the world will make you successful in this role, as will patience and a sense of humor. You will frequently travel to various Fulfillment Center locations in Europe. There will also be an element of international travel when required

Key job responsibilities
The successful candidate is able to:
• Perform mechanical/electrical reviews of new hardware being designed for the business. Ensuring on site engineering teams have the information needed to support the product.
• Manage operational relationships with engineering support teams and internal operations business partners to drive increases to Robotic asset performance.
• Identify business risks and needs of new products to successfully stand-up a maintenance program.
• Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
• Effectively interact and collaborate with Customers, Project Sponsors, Technical Program Managers and multiple internal teams to define and deliver complex solutions.
• Proactively recognize and drive opportunities to simplify processes.
• Contribute to and influence technical designs.
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities.
• Support the effective and efficient delivery of large, complex technical projects and programs.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance business needs with technical constraints.
• Identify, assess, track and mitigate issues and risks at multiple levels.
• Create, maintain and disseminate program information to stakeholders.

About the team
The ELM AR NTI team, manages the introduction of new equipment into the maintenance engineering teams portfolio. We aim to improve the reliability and maintainability of new equipment being introduced into our fulfillment network.- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience in technical product or program management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical, Manufacturing, Industrial or Software Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or an equivalent field
- Experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics or natural language processing- Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Experience with data analysis tools such as Advanced Excel, SQL, Tableau, Python
