MongoDB is seeking a Senior Payroll Specialist to coordinate payroll cycles and improve processes within the Global payroll department. This role requires collaboration with Accounting, HR, and Benefits teams, ensuring compliance and providing excellent customer service.
You have extensive experience in payroll functions, ideally with a focus on compliance and process improvement. You are self-motivated and system savvy, with a strong understanding of payroll cycles and associated tasks. Your ability to work collaboratively across multiple functions is key to enhancing the customer experience. You are detail-oriented and committed to ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing across various countries in the APAC region.
You possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to audit payroll data effectively and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations. Your experience includes handling payroll audits and adhering to internal control requirements, which is essential for maintaining updated documentation for all payroll-related processes. You are also known for providing prompt and friendly customer service to employees regarding their pay and deductions.
In this role, you will be responsible for the coordination of all payroll cycles, ensuring that payroll is processed accurately and on time. You will work closely with the Payroll Manager and collaborate with the Accounting, HR, and Benefits teams to drive improvements in payroll processes. Your role will involve auditing payroll data to ensure accuracy in wages, garnishments, tax withholdings, and deductions.
You will assist with payroll-related audits and ensure compliance with SOX requirements by maintaining proper documentation and providing recommendations for process enhancements. Your customer service skills will be put to use as you address employee inquiries regarding payroll, ensuring they receive the support they need in a friendly and efficient manner.
You will also support the Payroll GL Accounting teams with month-end accounting tasks, contributing to the overall financial accuracy of the organization. Your proactive approach to evaluating and improving payroll processes will be crucial in enhancing the overall efficiency of the payroll department.
