Samsara is hiring an Account Executive for their Mid Market team to drive sales of IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You'll engage with executives and manage complex sales processes. This role requires experience in sales and a strong understanding of customer needs.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in engaging with mid-sized customers and understanding their unique needs. You thrive in a role that requires building relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executives and CXOs. Your experience includes managing trials and negotiations, ensuring that you can effectively communicate the value of IoT solutions to potential clients. You are comfortable working remotely and can adapt to the required working hours in EST/CST. You understand the importance of the physical operations that power our global economy and are excited about the opportunity to help organizations digitally transform their operations.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales of Samsara's IoT solutions to mid-sized customers. You will engage in sales processes that typically involve transactions ranging from $20k to $100k, requiring you to manage proof of concepts and trials effectively. You will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and that they understand the benefits of sensor data. Your role will involve negotiating pricing and terms, ensuring that you can close deals that are beneficial for both the customer and Samsara. You will also be expected to travel approximately 25% of the time to meet with clients and attend industry events, further enhancing your ability to build relationships and drive sales.
