Overview

SingleStore is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive new business and expand existing relationships with large strategic customers. You'll leverage a value-selling approach to close multi-million dollar deals. This role requires strong sales experience and relationship-building skills.

Who you are

You are an accomplished sales professional with a proven track record in closing new business and expanding existing accounts. With a focus on large strategic customers, you excel at building and nurturing relationships with C-suite executives. Your approach to sales is rooted in value-selling, where you effectively tie technology to measurable business outcomes. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are motivated by the opportunity to earn competitive compensation through uncapped commissions and accelerators.

You have experience developing and executing strategic territory and account plans that consistently achieve revenue targets. You are adept at managing multiple customer sales cycles simultaneously, with a strong emphasis on acquiring new logos while navigating complex deal timelines. Your ability to own and grow large, strategic customer accounts sets you apart, as you can effectively manage multi-stakeholder environments and complexities across decision-makers.

You partner closely with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, and Field Marketing teams to drive deal strategy and pipeline generation. Your collaborative nature allows you to build and maintain relationships with channel partners, supporting pipeline development and co-selling efforts. You quickly develop a deep understanding of the company’s software products, enabling you to articulate their value to potential customers.

Desirable

Experience in a software startup environment is a plus, as is familiarity with technology solutions that drive business outcomes. A strong network within the industry can enhance your ability to succeed in this role.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for closing new business and expanding existing business with large strategic customers. You will develop and execute strategic territory and account plans to consistently achieve revenue targets within your defined portfolio. Leading multiple, concurrent customer sales cycles end to end will be a key part of your responsibilities, with a strong focus on new logo acquisition while managing longer, more complex deal timelines.

You will own and grow large, strategic customer accounts, navigating multi-stakeholder environments and managing complexity across decision-makers. Partnering closely with Sales Engineering, Sales Development, and Field Marketing, you will drive deal strategy, pipeline generation, and execution. Building and maintaining relationships with channel partners will also be essential, as you support pipeline development and co-selling efforts.

Your role will require you to quickly develop a deep understanding of the company’s software products, allowing you to effectively communicate their value to potential customers. You will consistently close multi-million dollar deals, leveraging your expertise in value-selling to tie technology to measurable business outcomes.

What we offer

SingleStore offers a competitive base salary range for this role, if based in Boston, Chicago, New York, or Dallas, between $150,000 and $185,000 USD per year. In addition to a competitive salary, you will have the opportunity to earn uncapped commissions and accelerators based on your performance. We provide merit increases and annual bonuses to reward your contributions to the company’s success.
