Overview

Google is seeking a Senior Business Development Consultant to drive new business sales in Tokyo. You'll leverage your sales experience and fluency in English and Japanese to build relationships and present advertising solutions. This role requires 5+ years of experience in full life-cycle sales.

Who you are

You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 5 years of experience in full life-cycle sales. Your fluency in both English and Japanese allows you to effectively communicate with local stakeholders and build strong relationships. You have a proven track record in building a book of business and developing agreements that ensure the management and fulfillment of sales goals. Your experience in the internet advertising industry gives you a solid understanding of the market and its dynamics. You are comfortable taking initiative and thrive in ambiguous situations, demonstrating your ability to succeed in a team environment. Your excellent communication and problem-solving skills enable you to understand clients' agendas, organize their needs, and propose appropriate solutions.

Desirable

Experience in pitching advertising solutions over video conferences or in person is a plus, as is a passion for sales and knowledge of online media. You are committed to maximizing customer success and act like an owner, moving swiftly through changes and finding innovative ways to deliver extraordinary outcomes for both Google and your customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will cultivate a pipeline of valuable prospects for growth and sustainability, securing new Google Ads clients by presenting tailored marketing solutions. You will create relevant ad campaigns that maximize returns for clients, developing business strategies that optimize market potential. Working closely with C-level customers, you will understand their business needs and set appropriate data-backed expectations. Your ability to build trusted relationships with customers will be key in uncovering their business needs and translating them into powerful solutions that help them achieve their most ambitious goals.
