Senior DevOps Engineer(Afternoon Shift- 12:00-9:00 PM)

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a strong focus on building and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines. Your expertise in AWS and Docker allows you to create scalable and efficient infrastructure solutions. You are proficient in using Git for version control and have experience with Jenkins for continuous integration. Your knowledge of Kubernetes enables you to manage containerized applications effectively, ensuring high availability and performance.

You are skilled in Infrastructure as Code practices, particularly with Terraform, which you use to provision and manage cloud resources. You understand the importance of monitoring and alerting, and you have experience with tools that help you troubleshoot and respond to system downtimes and performance issues. You are proactive in identifying new technologies that can enhance DevOps processes and improve team efficiency.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with software engineering teams to coordinate build and release activities. Your communication skills allow you to effectively liaise with stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals and timelines. You are committed to maintaining the highest standards of quality and supportability in all deliverables.

Desirable

Experience with additional tools such as Ansible or Puppet is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud platforms beyond AWS. You may also have knowledge of security best practices in DevOps, which is increasingly important in today's landscape.

What you'll do

In this role, you will define and develop continuous integration and deployment pipelines that facilitate the smooth delivery of software products. You will build and maintain Infrastructure as Code, ensuring that all environments are consistent and reproducible. Your responsibilities will include coordinating build and release activities with other stakeholders, managing day-to-day operations of release pipelines, and overseeing build tools and source control software.

You will troubleshoot and respond to downtime, performance degradation, and security incidents, ensuring that systems remain operational and secure. Ongoing maintenance and upgrades of DevOps systems will be part of your daily tasks, as will identifying and researching new technologies to improve processes. You will play a key role in fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team, encouraging innovation and efficiency.
