What you'll do

As the PCBA Production Team Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and scaling the internal PCBA production capabilities at Astranis. This includes developing and implementing production strategies that align with the company's aggressive rate targets. You will lead all PCBA assembly and test operations, ensuring that the highest levels of quality are achieved to meet mission-critical requirements.

You will oversee the full production lifecycle, which involves selecting the right equipment and processes, designing factory layouts, and planning capacity to meet production demands. Your role will also include staffing the production team and introducing new products into the manufacturing process, working closely with design engineering to champion improvements in design-for-manufacturability.

Collaboration will be key in this role, as you will work with various teams to ensure that production goals are met while maintaining a focus on quality and efficiency. You will also be responsible for monitoring production metrics and implementing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance.
