Unity is seeking a Chief Information Security Officer to lead their security strategy and team. You'll be responsible for driving technology risk, security, and governance across Unity's platforms. This role requires extensive experience in security management and compliance.
You are an experienced security professional with a strong background in leading security teams and developing security strategies. With over 10 years of experience in the field, you have a deep understanding of application security, infrastructure security, and compliance requirements. You thrive in collaborative environments and can effectively communicate security needs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. You have a proven track record of staying ahead of emerging threats and regulatory requirements, ensuring that your organization remains secure and trusted.
You possess strong leadership skills and have successfully built and developed high-performing security teams. You understand the importance of fostering a culture of security awareness and compliance within the organization. You are adept at choosing and integrating the right security tools to support a secure software development lifecycle, and you have experience working closely with product development teams to implement proactive security measures.
Experience in the gaming industry or with large-scale software platforms is a plus. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, or CIS is highly desirable. You are also knowledgeable about cloud security practices and have experience with security compliance audits.
As the Chief Information Security Officer at Unity, you will lead the security team and drive the overall security strategy for the organization. You will collaborate with various internal teams, including product development, engineering, and compliance, to ensure that security is integrated into all aspects of Unity's operations. You will be responsible for developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and best practices that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
You will oversee the application security, infrastructure security, security operations, and governance, risk management, and compliance functions within the security team. Your role will involve assessing and mitigating security risks, responding to security incidents, and ensuring that Unity's security posture is continuously improved. You will also be the primary point of contact for customer inquiries regarding Unity's security methodology and practices.
In addition, you will lead initiatives to enhance security awareness across the organization, providing training and resources to employees to help them understand their role in maintaining a secure environment. You will work closely with audit teams to support compliance efforts and ensure that Unity meets all necessary security requirements.
Unity offers a competitive salary range of $284,800—$400,100 USD, commensurate with experience.
