What you'll do

As a Staff Software Engineer at Earnin, you will play a pivotal role in the development of our web applications. You will lead the design and implementation of features that enhance our users' financial flexibility, ensuring that our products are not only functional but also intuitive and engaging. Your hands-on coding will make up about 60% of your role, allowing you to stay connected to the technical aspects of our projects.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and designers to translate user needs into technical requirements, ensuring that the final product aligns with our vision and meets customer expectations. Your experience with event-driven architecture will be crucial as you help shape the backend systems that support our applications, leveraging AWS to ensure scalability and reliability.

In addition to your technical contributions, you will take on a leadership role within the engineering team, guiding junior developers and helping them grow their skills. You will conduct code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment where team members feel empowered to share ideas and take initiative.
