You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in acquiring new customers and managing the full sales cycle. Desirable

Experience in the technology sector, particularly with data streaming or related fields, is a plus. Familiarity with CRM tools, especially Salesforce, will help you manage your pipeline effectively. A background in enterprise sales will give you an edge in understanding the complexities of large client accounts.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the entire sales process for new logos within your assigned Enterprise territory. This includes prospecting potential clients, conducting discovery meetings to understand their needs, and designing solutions that leverage Confluent's data streaming platform. You will negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring a smooth transition for new customers. Your role will also involve building long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.

You will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to align on messaging and ensure that the solutions you offer meet market demands. Regularly analyzing sales metrics will be part of your routine, helping you to refine your strategies and improve performance. You will participate in team meetings to share insights and best practices, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement.
