Overview

Vestwell is seeking a Senior Sales Development Representative to drive new business through financial advisors. You'll manage the full sales cycle and contribute to revenue growth. This role requires experience in financial services sales.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in financial services sales, ideally with 5+ years of experience in a similar role. You understand the nuances of the financial technology landscape and are comfortable engaging with financial advisors to promote innovative savings solutions. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to effectively convey value propositions and build relationships with potential clients. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are adept at managing multiple priorities while maintaining a focus on achieving sales targets.

You are detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills, which enable you to maintain accurate constituent databases and qualify prospects efficiently. Your experience includes conducting outreach through phone calls and emails, and you are skilled at crafting compelling messaging that resonates with your audience. You are a self-motivated individual who takes initiative in business development activities and enjoys the challenge of closing sales.

Desirable

Experience working with channel partners and understanding their dynamics is a plus. Familiarity with the financial advisor marketplace will give you an edge in this role. You are comfortable using CRM tools to track your sales activities and analyze performance metrics to refine your approach.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and converting new business opportunities at Vestwell. You will manage the full sales cycle within your assigned territory, from prospecting to closing deals. Your primary focus will be on engaging with financial advisors to promote Vestwell's suite of products, including workplace retirement plans and savings accounts. You will develop and execute outreach strategies that effectively communicate the benefits of Vestwell's offerings, ensuring that you meet or exceed your sales targets.

You will collaborate closely with the marketing team to align your sales strategies with broader company initiatives. Regularly analyzing market trends and competitor offerings will be essential to position Vestwell effectively in the financial advisor marketplace. You will also participate in training sessions to stay updated on product developments and sales techniques, ensuring that you are equipped to address client needs effectively.

Your role will involve frequent communication with potential clients, requiring you to be persuasive and knowledgeable about Vestwell's products. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of your sales activities and providing regular updates to your manager on your progress. As you build relationships with financial advisors, you will gather feedback to help shape Vestwell's offerings and improve the sales process.
