Who you are

You have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience. With 5+ years of experience in developing and maintaining cloud platforms, you understand the intricacies of cloud-native architectures and microservices. You are proficient in Kubernetes and have a strong grasp of CI/CD practices, enabling you to automate and streamline deployment processes effectively. Your background in DevOps tooling and infrastructure as code allows you to implement best practices that enhance operational efficiency. You are a proactive problem solver who enjoys monitoring and managing cloud environments, integrating telemetry and observability into your work. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with engineering teams to drive the adoption of platform components and tools.

Desirable

Experience with multiple cloud providers and a solid understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies will set you apart. Familiarity with automation tools and scripting languages is a plus, as is any experience in scaling cloud platforms across various environments.

What you'll do

As a Senior Platform Engineer at Celonis, you will be responsible for building and operating a highly available Microservices Cloud platform based on Kubernetes. You will design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, secure, and highly available software using best-in-class technologies. Your role will involve establishing best practices and building tools to drive the use of CI/CD across engineering teams. You will automate operational tasks and implement infrastructure as code, ensuring that our cloud platform remains robust and efficient. Monitoring and managing our environments will be a key part of your responsibilities, where you will integrate telemetry and observability to enhance performance and reliability. You will also maintain best practices around notifications and response processes, ensuring that our systems are responsive and resilient.
