Amazon is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex projects in the expansion of their European fulfillment network. You'll coordinate resources and manage timelines and budgets. This role requires extensive experience in project management.
You have extensive experience in project management, particularly in leading large and complex projects. You are comfortable managing ambitious schedules and coordinating multiple teams and resources to achieve project goals. Your leadership skills enable you to mentor project resources effectively while managing project engineers and specialists. You thrive in environments that require interfacing with various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization. You are adaptable and willing to travel, working across multiple countries and cultures as needed.
Experience in managing fulfillment center projects or similar large-scale operations would be beneficial. Familiarity with vendor management and safety policies is a plus, as is a background in engineering or technical project management.
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the expansion of Amazon's European fulfillment network. You will coordinate the internal and external resources required to launch new fulfillment centers, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget. You will actively participate in vendor management, overseeing safety policies and coordinating schedules for multiple interdependent vendors. Your role will involve managing the overall project budget, approving purchase orders and invoices, and contributing to the development of comprehensive budgets during project conception. You will plan, direct, supervise, and control the execution of projects to achieve the best results for customers.
