Overview

Twilio is seeking a Privacy Governance Manager to support the Privacy Governance Team and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with the Privacy Legal team and requires strong organizational skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong background in privacy governance and compliance, ideally with experience in a technology or legal environment. Your organizational skills are top-notch, allowing you to manage multiple priorities effectively while ensuring that the Privacy Governance Team stays aligned with company objectives. You are a proactive communicator, capable of collaborating with various teams to implement and enhance privacy requirements across the organization. You understand the importance of regulatory compliance and are committed to maintaining a fair and transparent process within the company.

Desirable

Experience working with AI technologies and their implications on privacy governance would be a significant advantage. Familiarity with privacy regulations and frameworks such as GDPR or CCPA is also beneficial. You are adaptable and open to learning new skills as the privacy landscape evolves, ensuring that you remain a valuable asset to the team.

What you'll do

In this role, you will drive the Privacy and AI strategy among various stakeholders, ensuring that privacy considerations are integrated into all relevant processes. You will work closely with the Privacy Legal team to implement and enhance privacy requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring regulatory changes and assessing their impact on the organization, as well as developing and maintaining documentation related to privacy governance.

You will also play a key role in supporting the Privacy Governance Team by helping to prioritize tasks and projects that align with company goals. This may involve conducting training sessions for employees on privacy best practices and ensuring that all team members are informed about their responsibilities regarding privacy compliance. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of privacy awareness within the organization, encouraging collaboration and communication among teams to achieve shared objectives.
