Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in government relations, ideally within the education sector, and a proven track record of shaping policy and advocacy strategies. Your strategic mindset allows you to navigate complex legislative landscapes and build high-trust relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You are passionate about equitable access to technology-enabled learning solutions and understand the importance of advocacy in driving systemic change in education. You thrive in a remote-first environment and are committed to excellence and innovation in your work.

Desirable

Experience working with K–12 education policy and a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the sector will set you apart. You have a network of contacts in government and education that you can leverage to advance Edmentum's mission. Your ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences, from educators to policymakers, is a key strength.

In this role, you will architect and execute a comprehensive government relations strategy that positions Edmentum as a thought leader in K–12 education policy. You will lead the organization’s national and state advocacy agenda, ensuring that Edmentum's voice is represented in critical forums that influence the future of education. You will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders across federal, state, and local landscapes. This includes collaborating with internal teams to embed policy strategy into the growth roadmap and ensuring that advocacy efforts are aligned with organizational goals. You will serve as the primary driver of legislative engagement, advocating for policies that benefit students and educators alike.
