What you'll do

As a Senior Safety Specialist at HelloFresh, you will collaborate closely with the Manager of Safety and Loss Prevention to spearhead safety initiatives within the distribution center. Your role will involve conducting safety training for new hires and ongoing training for existing employees, ensuring that everyone is well-versed in safety protocols. You will oversee compliance with OSHA regulations, including managing records such as OSHA 300 Logs and conducting safety audits. In the event of accidents or injuries, you will assist management in investigations and root cause analyses to prevent future occurrences. You will also promote visibility of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) initiatives, ensuring that all employees are aware of and engaged in safety practices. Your recommendations for improvements will be crucial in enhancing the effectiveness of safety meetings and initiatives.
