Verkada is seeking an Enterprise Account Executive to drive new business acquisition in the Local/Higher Education market across Southern California. This role focuses on formulating and executing a sales strategy to achieve revenue growth.

Desirable

Experience in the public sector or with educational institutions is a plus, as it will help you navigate the unique challenges and opportunities within this market. What you'll do

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Verkada, you will be responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy within your assigned territory in Southern California. Your primary focus will be on acquiring new customers in the Local and Higher Education markets. You will leverage your sales expertise to identify potential clients, engage with them, and demonstrate how Verkada's solutions can enhance their security and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with the Public Sector Field Sales team, collaborating to share insights and strategies that drive success. Your role will involve conducting market research to understand the competitive landscape and identify trends that can inform your sales approach. You will also be responsible for maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling additional services.

In this position, you will report to the Regional Sales Director, Southwest - SLED, and will be expected to meet or exceed sales targets. You will participate in regular sales meetings, providing updates on your progress and sharing best practices with your team. Your contributions will play a crucial role in Verkada's continued growth and success in the market.
