We are looking for an experienced quality assurance profile with a track record of delivering 1st Party Compliance services on both in development & live titles. In this role, you will collaborate with development teams, release management and functional QA, guide implementation of 1st Party Requirements and secure 1st Party submission approvals through test strategies, test executions & defect reporting on assigned titles.
Key job responsibilities
• Deliver complete testing coverage, and ensure the reporting all compliance defects with high accuracy and efficiency, on assigned titles.
• Provide project status reports, highlighting defect patterns, identifying submission risks and recommendations.
• Constantly self-review defects diversity, their quality and accuracy in providing actionable insights for Production teams.
• Support Production partners in correctly implementing 1st Party requirements, taking into account design intent.
• Support Production & release management partners throughout the submission process
A day in the life
At Amazon Games, our ambition is to create bold new experiences that foster community in and around our games. Our team of game industry veterans is developing and publishing live service AAA multiplayer games and developing original IPs, including New World: Aeternum and an upcoming title based on The Lord of the Rings, with our studios and teams in Seattle, Orange County, San Diego, Montreal, and Bucharest. Amazon Games also publishes best-in-class games in close collaboration with developers, leading with Lost Ark from Smilegate RPG, THRONE AND LIBERTY from NCSOFT, and King of Meat from Glowmade, as well as the next major entry in the Tomb Raider series from Crystal Dynamics.- Experience in QA, in the Games industry, with evidenced Triple A HD titles testing.
- Strong knowledge of at least one 1st Party Requirements system and Submission process (Microsoft, Sony, Nintendo).
- Experience in shipping titles from a QA Compliance position.
- Deep knowledge of QA test practices for the full development life cycle, including test strategy definition, test plans & test cases creation, JIRA management, resource investment and test executions monitoring.
- Excellent English written and verbal skills.- Experience working closely with development and business teams to communicate problem impacts and to understand business requirements
- Experience in communicating with development teams across all job functions to collect feature design intentions and quality expectations and translate that into test strategy and test plans
