Databricks is seeking a Senior Named Hunter Account Executive to drive enterprise sales and expand their presence in Singapore. You'll engage with decision-makers and leverage your expertise in Big Data and SaaS solutions. This role requires 7+ years of experience in enterprise sales.
You have over 7 years of experience in enterprise sales, particularly within the realms of Big Data, Cloud, or SaaS technology. Your proven track record in selling to major enterprise accounts in Singapore showcases your ability to navigate complex sales processes and build strong relationships with clients. You possess a solution-oriented mindset, focusing on business outcomes and effectively communicating the value of intricate cloud and big data technologies to decision-makers.
Your sales approach is characterized by a deep understanding of methodologies such as Command of the Message, MEDDPIC, and the Challenger Sale. You thrive in environments where you can evangelize innovative solutions and drive customer success through upselling and strategic territory management. Your ability to articulate the business value of technology solutions sets you apart as a trusted advisor to your clients.
In this role, you will be a key player in Databricks' growth strategy across the APJ region. You will evangelize the Unified Analytics Platform powered by Spark, launching the Databricks brand within enterprise accounts across various industries. Your responsibilities will include prospecting, identifying, and sourcing new sales opportunities, while building a robust pipeline both individually and in collaboration with the Databricks SDR team.
You will engage with both business and technical decision-makers, guiding them through the evaluation and buying process to ensure a seamless experience. Exceeding individual activity, pipeline, and annual revenue targets will be a critical aspect of your role, as will driving business through local partners, including technology partners, ISVs, SIs, and GSIs.
Creating a comprehensive territory strategy will be essential for your success, allowing you to effectively target and penetrate key accounts. You will also play a pivotal role in driving customer success, ensuring that existing customers realize the full value of Databricks' solutions and identifying opportunities for upselling.
