Job Description

**About the Role** Uber is looking for an exceptional attorney to join its Internal Investigations program. The Global Investigations team investigates concerns raised through the Global Integrity Helpline and advises the company on global risks. The team also oversees reporting on key investigation metrics to stakeholders to help drive ethical decision making and navigate risks. This is a great opportunity to join a best-in-class legal department and work on cutting edge issues in an exciting, fast-paced environment. **What You'll Do** 1. You'll be responsible for independently conducting internal investigations within the EMEA region and potentially across other regions as needed. 2. You'll ensure compliance with relevant whistleblower and other regulations related to conducting internal investigations. 3. Additional responsibilities to include educating colleagues on the Global Integrity Helpline and working closely with regional legal, compliance, security, and HR colleagues on compliance and cross-functional initiatives. **What You'll Need** 1. **Must be a qualified attorney** (qualified to practice law in the EU) 2. 5-7 years of legal experience, with a minimum of 3 years of experience conducting internal investigations in private practice or in-house 3. Excellent legal research and analytical skills 4. Ability to communicate complex legal concepts and fact patterns clearly and effectively 5. Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with both business stakeholders and cross-functional partners 6. Ability to juggle multiple projects at a time **Preferred Qualifications** 1. In-house or demonstrated direct client counseling experience 2. Superior analytical skills, strategic problem solving, and innovative thinking 3. Self-motivation with a desire to take the initiative and think two steps ahead 4. Embody the highest standards of integrity, ethics, and accountability 5.
