Who you are

You have a strong background in accounting with experience in both public accounting and industry roles, ideally within the technology or financial services sectors. Your expertise in US GAAP, particularly ASC 606, allows you to quickly identify accounting implications and impacts on customers. You have a solution-oriented mindset and are enthusiastic about establishing best practices while challenging existing processes to identify improvement opportunities. Your attention to detail is exceptional, and you have a demonstrated history of taking on various types of challenging projects and producing results. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy collaborating with cross-functional and international teams to support strategic decision-making.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support revenue and cost accounting for products developed by Stripe's Bridge subsidiary. You will leverage your technical expertise to advise and collaborate with team members across various functions, ensuring that all business-generated transactions are accurately recorded on the balance sheet and income statement. Your responsibilities will include consulting on accounting implications and developing operational processes that help the team scale effectively.
