Mozilla is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance Firefox development workflows and improve integration and automation processes. You'll work with technologies like JavaScript and Python in a remote setting based in Germany.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in enhancing development workflows and CI processes. Your expertise in JavaScript and Python allows you to contribute effectively to the team, and you have a solid understanding of CI/CD practices that help streamline development. You enjoy mentoring others and are open to being mentored by more senior engineers, fostering a collaborative team environment.
You are comfortable working with geographically-distributed teams and have experience in building applications that support development processes. Your problem-solving skills enable you to identify bottlenecks in workflows and propose effective solutions. You are passionate about open-source software and understand the importance of creating tools that empower developers.
Experience with Docker and Git is a plus, as these tools are integral to the development processes at Mozilla. Familiarity with testing frameworks and debugging techniques will also be beneficial in this role. You are adaptable and eager to learn new technologies that can enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will focus on improving Firefox development workflows, reducing the time developers spend on testing and debugging.
