Job Description

The Amazonian Leadership eXperiences (ALX) organization is looking for an exceptional, well-organized and self-motivated Executive Assistant to support two Directors overseeing Workforce Planning. In this role, you will support dynamic leaders who are driving innovative workforce planning solutions across tech and product teams. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a team that is shaping the future of how Amazon approaches workforce strategy and planning at an enterprise level.

This role requires attention to detail, exceptional organization and prioritization skills, and the ability to plan ahead and meet tight deadlines while juggling multiple critical requests.

A successful candidate will demonstrate a high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, while maintaining professionalism and flexibility in a fast-paced environment. You will complete tasks and projects quickly with minimal guidance, handle urgent situations with appropriate priority, and take on new challenges with enthusiasm. Success in this role requires the ability to make effective decisions and prioritize tasks efficiently, often without having the complete picture.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage calendars and scheduling
- Coordinate and execute team meetings, events, and offsites
- Support various meetings – including drafting agendas, printing materials, and tracking action items
- Manage space planning and seating assignments
- Track and maintain headcount reporting
- Work closely with the leadership team, business operations, recruiting, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
- Ensure the timely completion of critical tasks and follow-ups
- Help to develop & maintain new mechanisms within the team
- Build a positive work environment
- Coordinate travel and expenses - 5+ years of senior level leadership support, or 3+ years of Amazon experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- High school or equivalent diploma- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company
- Experience leading process improvements
- Experience designing processes to maximize efficiency
- Experience as an Executive Assistant
- Experience with executive level calendar management
- Experience with work space planning/management
- Experience supporting technical or product organizations

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $142,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
