Tech Lead Manager

Who you are

You have over 5 years of experience developing scalable and reliable backend services, demonstrating your ability to manage complex systems and lead a team effectively. Your proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Ruby, Python, C++, Java, and Kotlin allows you to contribute to various projects and mentor your team members. You possess in-depth knowledge of databases and messaging systems, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, and RabbitMQ, which enables you to design efficient data architectures. Your upper-intermediate English proficiency ensures clear communication with international teams and stakeholders.

You thrive in a collaborative environment, working closely with designers, testers, and product managers to gather requirements and discuss project goals. You are skilled in project management and enjoy participating in planning sessions to ensure timely delivery of features. Your experience in writing clean, scalable, and efficient code is complemented by your ability to review and provide constructive feedback on code written by peers, ensuring consistency and quality across the team.

Desirable

Experience with cloud services like AWS and infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform is a plus. Familiarity with container orchestration using Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Technical Lead Manager at Wheely, you will manage a team of approximately 10 developers, guiding them in their day-to-day activities and supporting their career development. You will participate in planning and project management, ensuring that your team is aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and discuss project goals, ensuring that all stakeholders are on the same page.

You will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and evaluating technical requirements alongside your team, contributing to the overall architecture and design of the platform. Writing clean, scalable, and efficient code will be a key part of your responsibilities, primarily using the Go programming language. You will also review code written by your peers, providing feedback to maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will maintain technical documentation, including software design documents and user guides, to ensure that knowledge is shared and accessible within the team. Your leadership will foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement, encouraging team members to share ideas and learn from one another.
