Named a "Best Place to Work" in Austin, San Francisco & Sydney, BigCommerce is now looking for a London-based Senior Channel Account Manager, expanding our EMEA Regional Agency partnerships team.  The Senior CAM for Agency Partnerships will manage key Digital Agency & SI relationships, driving  partner investment, practice development, sales activation and oversight to support joint customer acquisition and successful client engagements.  You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, Enablement and Customer Success orgs to manage partner onboarding and activation efforts, along with related pipeline and go-to-market activities that drive new and expansion growth opportunities to BigCommerce inclusive of all platform and solution offerings. 

What You’ll Do:

  •    Personally manage the relationship with existing BigCommerce key digital agencies and global systems integrators, acting as the GM/Advisor for those partners to unlock full potential and opportunity for partner investment, activation and performance growth  
  •    Identify, engage and recruit new partners (that meet specific criteria) into the BigCommerce partner ecosystem across both platform and performance management that reflect the desired future partner ecosystem profile, and to work closely with them during any onboarding process.
  •   Partner with Sales to drive partner engagement, supporting both sourced revenue growth referrals from Partner, as well as joint co-selling efforts that are highly influential with Partner.
  •    Lead and collaborate with the BigCommerce Marketing and Product teams to develop and implement effective go-to-market strategies (including industry and market-led initiatives) with new and existing partners. Responsibilities include working with and communicating across multiple team functions within BigCommerce and across partner organization.
  •    Work with Partners to drive joint marketing initiatives through events, industry and subject-matter content,  customer case studies and various other marketing campaigns.
  •    Work with the Partners to develop Partner success metrics, including specific KPIs that drive client adoption and revenue growth for both BigCommerce and the partner.
  •    Act as a primary point of contact/product owner for solution and partnership, serving as a subject matter expert around how eCommerce platforms fit within overall digital commerce ecosystems.
  •    Partner with leadership in cultivating an environment of teamwork, openness, creativity, and continuous improvement.

Who You Are:

  •         8+ years software or SaaS experience with a focus on consultative solutions selling in a rapidly growing and fast-paced environment with at least  5 years experience in a Partner/Channel management role, ideally in ecommerce or related MarTech space.
  •         Keen understanding of a variety of eCommerce platforms including Adobe/Magento, CommerceTools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and Shopify
  •       Driven Achiever - You thrive on challenges and have a proven history of successfully, consistently achieving revenue goals and objectives, within a complex client acquisition-driven business.
  •       Action-Oriented - You have a passion for getting things done, carry out responsibilities with minimal direction, enjoy working hard, are full of energy for challenges, and seize opportunities more than others.
  •       Strong Business Development skills, the ability to act as a GM & Business Advisor to your partners.  You are a mix of Market Maker, Master Negotiator, Star Salesperson, all the skills  to help build and grow scalable and profitable partnerships based on long-term mutual value.
  •       Master Communicator - You leverage insight as currency, provide the right information to the right people at the right time to create ideal outcomes, while adjusting your approach to fit the audience and setting (including internal and external constituents, at both field and leadership levels) Excellent communication, presentation, and client/partner relationship skills are essential.
  •       Strategist - You have perspective and can see and discuss multiple aspects and impacts of issues and project them into the future, recognize what can/should be done now to affect future performance, and see and understand the challenges between the current and the ideal situation.
  •       Business Acumen - You know what to prioritize, creatively solve complex problems, and use data to make decisions. You have a deep level of knowledge about how businesses work, keep up with relevant practices and trends, and know the competition.
  •       Organized - You can marshal the resources you need to get things done, simultaneously manage multiple priorities and/or projects, and deliver key milestones on time. You have strong attention to detail, anticipate and adjust for challenges, and develop and maintain schedules.
  •       Collaborative - You have demonstrated success working cross-functionally in matrixed organizations.and have the ability to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners such across Product Development, Channel, Marketing, other sales channels.
  •       Personable - You are a high energy professional with a resiliently positive attitude and deep personal confidence that exudes a strong sense of teamwork by working effectively, respectfully, and efficiently with all team members.
  •       Courageous and Ethical - You possess professional courage, steadfastly persevere through challenges, are ambitious while humble, have high standards for ethics and integrity, and do the right things the right way.
