Senior Motion Planning Engineer

Who you are

You have a PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering, and possess a deep understanding of motion planning algorithms and their applications in autonomous driving. Your experience includes leading research and development efforts, where you've successfully designed and implemented novel algorithms that enhance the safety and efficiency of autonomous systems. You are skilled in software development practices and have a proven track record of building robust, scalable codebases that support rapid prototyping and evaluation of complex algorithms.

You thrive in collaborative environments and have experience interfacing with various components of autonomous systems, including perception, prediction, and control. Your ability to mentor and guide junior engineers fosters a culture of technical excellence and product-focused engineering within your team. Experience with advanced search-based methods and geometry-based methods in motion planning is a plus.
