MongoDB is seeking a Senior Relationship Account Manager to sustain long-term partnerships with mature customers. You'll be responsible for customer success, education, and upselling. This role requires 5+ years of experience in account management or a similar customer-centric role.
You have 5+ years of quota-carrying experience in Account Management, Business Development, Sales, or a similarly customer-centric role — you have a proven track record of overachievement and consistently hitting sales targets. You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, enabling you to present effectively to diverse audiences, both internally and externally. Your background includes driving value and growth with customers through virtual meetings, which may take the form of enablement sessions, strategy meetings, and business reviews. You have a demonstrated ability to articulate the value of complex enterprise technology, and you possess a genuine curiosity and aptitude for learning about technology, particularly MongoDB and databases. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are eager to tackle new challenges head-on.
In this role, you will act as the primary and often sole point of contact for a portfolio of customers, focusing on their success, education, and enablement. You will be responsible for upselling and cross-selling, as well as managing renewals. Your day-to-day will involve engaging with customers to ensure they derive maximum value from MongoDB's offerings, conducting strategy meetings, and facilitating business reviews to assess progress and identify opportunities for growth. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and that they are fully supported in their use of MongoDB's products. Your role will also involve tracking customer engagement and satisfaction metrics to inform your approach and drive continuous improvement in customer relationships.
