Amazon is hiring a Senior Power DVT Engineer to lead the design verification lifecycle for power electronics systems in their low Earth orbit satellite network. You'll collaborate with various engineering teams to ensure compliance with space-grade requirements. This role requires expertise in power electronics and design verification methodologies.
You have a strong background in power electronics and design verification, with at least 5 years of experience in the field. Your expertise in Design for Testability (DFT) principles allows you to develop comprehensive Design Verification Plans (DVPs) that ensure the reliability of satellite systems. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating effectively with power design engineers, SI/PI engineers, and system integration teams to bridge design intent with flight-ready hardware. Your technical leadership skills enable you to mentor junior engineers and establish scalable test methodologies that enhance team performance.
Experience with satellite systems or avionics is a plus, as is familiarity with rigorous validation campaigns and test strategy development. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to evolving project requirements while maintaining a focus on quality and compliance.
In this role, you will own the complete design verification lifecycle for power electronics systems destined for Low Earth Orbit. You will develop and execute rigorous validation campaigns, ensuring that all systems meet stringent space-grade requirements. Your responsibilities will include creating comprehensive test strategies and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive the design verification process.
