What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the strategic sourcing and category management for Waymo's IT procurement, focusing on software (SaaS/On-Prem), end-user hardware, and IT professional services. You will develop a comprehensive procurement strategy that aligns with corporate objectives and ensures that the technology infrastructure supports Waymo's rapid scaling. You will manage a high-volume pipeline of renewals, ensuring that contracts are negotiated effectively and that cost efficiencies are realized. Your role will involve close collaboration with various teams to understand their needs and to ensure that procurement processes are streamlined and effective. You will also be responsible for monitoring market trends and adjusting procurement strategies accordingly to maintain a competitive edge.
