Overview

Flex is seeking an Associate Director for their Compliance Management System to define strategy and build scalable programs. You'll partner with regulatory stakeholders to ensure compliance and drive responsible growth. This role requires deep regulatory expertise and operational savvy.

Who you are

You are an accomplished compliance leader with a strong background in regulatory frameworks and compliance management systems. With at least 5 years of experience in compliance roles, you have a proven track record of developing and implementing compliance strategies that align with business objectives. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively partner with bank and regulatory stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives. Your operational and technical savvy enables you to build scalable programs that meet and exceed compliance expectations. You thrive in a highly visible role where you can influence enterprise-level decisions and set new standards for quality and rigor in compliance practices.

Desirable

Experience in the FinTech sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the unique compliance challenges faced by financial technology companies. You have a keen understanding of the regulatory landscape and are adept at navigating complex compliance requirements. Your ability to think strategically while managing day-to-day compliance operations sets you apart as a leader in this field.

What you'll do

As the Associate Director of Compliance Management System at Flex, you will take ownership of one or more core pillars of the Compliance Management System. Your primary responsibility will be to define the compliance strategy that supports Flex's mission of empowering renters with flexible payment options. You will work closely with various teams to build scalable compliance programs that ensure the company operates within regulatory guidelines while fostering growth. Your role will involve collaborating with bank partners and regulatory bodies to ensure that compliance frameworks are robust and effective. You will also be responsible for driving initiatives that enhance the quality and clarity of compliance processes, setting a new bar for excellence in the industry. This position offers you the opportunity to lead compliance efforts in a fast-paced environment, where your expertise will directly impact the company's ability to grow responsibly.
