Handshake is seeking Fashion Designers to contribute to an AI research project. You'll leverage your design experience to evaluate AI outputs and provide feedback. This role is remote and flexible, requiring no prior AI experience.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in fashion design, which includes creating and refining apparel or accessory designs. Your expertise allows you to sketch detailed drawings and specify elements like color schemes and materials. You are comfortable collaborating with sales teams and clients to discuss ideas and oversee the production process. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to how AI is utilized in the fashion industry, even if you have no prior experience with AI.
In this role, you will work independently on a flexible schedule, contributing between 5 to 20 hours per week. Your primary responsibility will be to develop prompts for AI models that reflect your expertise in fashion design. You will evaluate the responses generated by these models and provide structured feedback to enhance their understanding of workplace tasks and language. This position allows you to engage with AI technology while applying your professional knowledge in a meaningful way. You will be part of an ongoing project that runs year-round, with opportunities opening periodically across different areas of expertise.
