The Transportation Associate Program's Capacity Management team plays a crucial role in effective capacity planning and resource utilization optimization for the TAP program. We are seeking a highly talented and driven Analyst to lead data analysis, collaborate with stakeholders, and manage projects. In this role, you will act as the liaison between the Capacity Management team and Operations to produce accurate plan and monitor its execution.
Key job responsibilities
You will be responsible for managing the 1 month to 3 year forward looking forecast for TAPs growth from a capacity and cost side, managing the budget of 500+ drivers, 200+ vehicles across 30+ sites, across EU.
A day in the life
You will:
Work with teams across Amazon to turn volume forecast inputs into an executable plan output;
Interact with stakeholders across the ATS team - Operations, Finance, Data Analytics and Supply Mix to ensure long-term plan is optimal;
Support leadership with important data analytics to ensure prompt and precise decision-making.
Address daily capacity challenges and serve as the primary point of contact for planning with site and operations teams.
Take ownership of end-to-end long-term improvement initiatives, focusing on key performance indicators (KPIs) such as planned driver utilization% and LH loaded drive time.
- Basic qualifications
- - Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- - Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- - Speak, write, and read fluently in English- - Knowledge of Microsoft Excel at an advanced level, including: pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, data links, etc.
