SpaceX is hiring an Avionics Technician to fabricate and assemble wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies for the Falcon program. This role requires experience with mechanical hand tools and the ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1+ years of experience using mechanical hand tools or following work instructions. You thrive in a fast-paced production environment and have hands-on experience fabricating harnesses or electro-mechanical assemblies. Your attention to detail is outstanding, and you possess excellent communication and teamwork skills. You are adaptable and can handle constantly changing work assignments, ensuring that you meet area benchmarks and deliver work on time.
An associate degree is preferred, along with experience in a high production environment with flight hardware. You are familiar with the processes involved in prototype development and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all work is completed with accuracy and efficiency.
As an Avionics Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for fabricating and assembling high-quality wire harnesses and electro-mechanical assemblies. You will read, interpret, and work from drawings and controlled documentation, ensuring that all work is documented clearly and precisely. You will monitor your work progress against area benchmarks and assist with the development of production processes for first-time production runs. Additionally, you will participate in area efficiency improvement projects, contributing to the overall success of the team.
