Overview

Asana is seeking a Head of Employee Relations to lead the strategy and evolution of their employee relations function. You'll develop best practices and collaborate closely with HR and legal teams. This role requires strong leadership and employee advocacy skills.

You have extensive experience in employee relations, demonstrating a deep understanding of best practices and strategies that foster a positive workplace culture. Your leadership skills are complemented by a forward-thinking mindset, allowing you to effectively coach and develop team members while aligning with organizational values. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with HR Business Partners and legal teams to ensure compliance and effective employee advocacy. You leverage data-driven tools to enhance employee relations strategies, focusing on risk mitigation and scalable solutions. Your ability to blend expertise with a strategic vision makes you an ideal candidate for this role.

Desirable

Experience in leading employee relations functions in a global organization is a plus. Familiarity with hybrid work models and their implications on employee engagement and relations will be beneficial. You are comfortable navigating complex employee issues and have a track record of implementing successful employee relations programs that align with company values.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead a small team dedicated to scaling Asana's global Employee Relations program. Your primary focus will be on developing workflows, playbooks, and collaboration models that ensure consistency and relevance across various locations. You will be responsible for creating a values-aligned employee relations strategy that supports the well-being and success of all employees. You will work closely with leaders across the organization to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Your role will also involve coaching current and future leaders on best practices in employee relations, ensuring they are equipped to handle employee concerns effectively. You will analyze data to inform your strategies and make recommendations that drive positive change within the organization.
