You understand the importance of collaboration across teams and are eager to contribute to the development of innovative technologies that push the boundaries of space exploration.

Desirable

Experience in the aerospace industry is a plus, particularly with launch vehicles or similar high-stakes environments. Familiarity with the full lifecycle of mechanical systems, from concept through to production, will set you apart. You are comfortable with rapid prototyping and iterative design processes, and you have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all systems are designed with precision and reliability in mind.

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanisms Systems Engineer at Relativity, you will be responsible for the design and delivery of mission-critical hardware that enables the successful flight and landing of rockets. You will lead projects that involve the full lifecycle of mechanical systems, collaborating closely with propulsion, manufacturing, and software teams to ensure seamless integration of all components. Your role will require you to solve engineering challenges that arise during the development process, leveraging your technical expertise to innovate and improve existing designs.

You will participate in cross-functional meetings to discuss project progress, challenges, and solutions, ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned and informed.
