You have over 7 years of experience in software engineering, particularly focusing on security, infrastructure, and data pipelines. Your background includes a strong track record of building and scaling security analytics systems, and you are well-versed in architecting solutions that handle large volumes of security telemetry. You possess a deep understanding of security operations and incident response, and you are comfortable mentoring engineers and contributing to team growth.

Your technical expertise includes proficiency in Python and familiarity with machine learning concepts, which you leverage to create innovative security tooling and analytics capabilities. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with security and infrastructure teams to understand their requirements and deliver effective solutions. You are passionate about building reliable and interpretable AI systems that enhance security operations.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building an AI-powered platform that encompasses all aspects of detection and response capabilities, from detection development to incident response. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines for ingesting and processing security telemetry across Anthropic's rapidly growing infrastructure. Your work will involve architecting solutions for storing and efficiently querying large volumes of security-relevant data, ensuring that the systems you build are robust and efficient.

You will create rapid prototypes and proof-of-concepts for new security tooling and analytics capabilities, allowing the team to explore innovative approaches to security challenges. Collaborating closely with security and infrastructure teams, you will gather requirements and deliver tailored solutions that meet their needs. Additionally, you will participate in on-call shifts, contributing to the team's operational readiness and incident response efforts.
