SoFi is hiring a Staff Product Designer for their Borrow Origination team to create intuitive experiences for lending products. You'll focus on designing member-first solutions that simplify the loan application process. This role requires strong design skills and experience in user experience design.
You have 5+ years of experience in product design, particularly in creating user-centered solutions that enhance the customer journey. Your expertise in Figma allows you to craft high-fidelity prototypes and design systems that resonate with users. You understand the complexities of financial products and can translate them into clear, engaging designs that build trust and confidence. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that design decisions align with business goals and user needs. You are passionate about improving user experiences and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every interaction is seamless and intuitive. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to refine your designs based on user testing and stakeholder input.
As a Staff Product Designer on the Borrow Origination team, you will lead the design efforts for our loan application process, focusing on reducing friction and enhancing clarity for users. You will collaborate with product managers and engineers to define the user experience and create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that meet user needs. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights and validate design concepts, ensuring that our solutions are grounded in real user feedback.
