Airwallex is seeking a Staff Product Designer for their Design Systems team to create and enhance design solutions for a unified payments platform. You'll work with Figma and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive impactful design initiatives. This role requires strong expertise in design systems and user experience.
You have extensive experience in product design, particularly in creating and maintaining design systems that enhance user experience across various platforms. Your strong understanding of user-centered design principles allows you to create intuitive and engaging interfaces that meet user needs. You are proficient in Figma and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every design element aligns with the overall vision and functionality of the product. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with engineers and product managers to bring your designs to life. Your ability to communicate design concepts effectively helps bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders. You are passionate about leveraging design to solve complex problems and improve user satisfaction.
Experience with design systems in a fintech or payments context is a plus. Familiarity with user research methodologies and the ability to translate insights into actionable design improvements will set you apart. A background in working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment will also be beneficial.
