Axon is seeking a Director of Accounting Strategy & Financial Reporting to lead accounting research and operational analysis with a focus on M&A and strategic investments. This role requires collaboration with senior leadership and the development of clear accounting policies.
You are a forward-thinking and highly motivated team player with extensive experience in accounting strategy and financial reporting. You have a strong background in leading accounting research and operational analysis, particularly in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, strategic equity and debt investments, and new accounting standards. Your ability to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and present findings to senior leadership sets you apart. You are committed to driving real change and supporting the SEC reporting and earnings release process, ensuring compliance with financial statement disclosures and non-GAAP measures.
You possess a deep understanding of accounting principles and regulations, and you are skilled in developing actionable accounting policies and informative training sessions. Your analytical mindset allows you to assess unique transactions and provide strategic advice to the Strategy and Corporate Development team. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about making a meaningful impact in your role.
Experience in a leadership role within accounting or finance is highly desirable. Familiarity with SEC reporting requirements and non-GAAP financial measures will enhance your candidacy. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement will be key to your success in this position.
